HP Hotel Management is seeking an Executive Lounge Host to join our team at the Hilton Nashville Airport Hotel. This is a highly sought-after part time position serving our highly important Hilton guests in the private lounge specifically dedicated to this elite category.

The Hilton Nashville Airport Hotel is located six miles from downtown Nashville, TN and is easily one of the best hotels in the area. Not only are we just two miles from the Nashville International Airport (BNA) but our location is minutes away from popular area restaurants, businesses, and local attractions like the famous Grand Ole Opry. Corporate travelers enjoy close proximity to the Music City Center and a vast number of downtown businesses. College students and families alike find our hotel ideal as we’re just a short drive to local universities including Vanderbilt, Belmont, and Fisk University. Guests love to visit the historic Grand Ole Opry, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Music Row, the top visited landmarks near the hotel. This challenging but rewarding position has overall responsibility ensuring extraordinary guest satisfaction through the cleanliness and attention to detail in our Executive Lounge. We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals. Come join our team!

Duties:

  • Clean and maintain hospitality area.
  • Clear empty glasses, dishes, and debris.  Place items in proper areas.
  • Clean all spills and breakage immediately.
  • Keep floors clean and dry.
  • Respond to guest needs.
  • Assist with all aspects of service as requested.
  • Report any damaged or worn items to management.
  • On time and at work when scheduled and in proper uniform.
  • Attend department meetings as scheduled.
  • Consistent professional and positive attitude and actions when communicating with guests, vendors, and associates.
  • Comply with policies and procedures.  Practice safe work habits and comply with sanitary, safety, security and emergency procedures.  Write shifts reports including reports on any incidents of theft, accidents or injuries when assigned.  Check with manager/supervisor before leaving work area for any reason.
  • Report any incidents of guest dissatisfaction or unusual matters of significance to manager/supervisor so that corrective measures may be taken.
  • Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.  Participate in task forces and committees and requested.
  • Any other tasks/duties as requested by management.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Employees must meet these minimum requirements:

Educational Skills

  • Type of Education: HS Diploma
  • Level of Education: Grade 12

Job Experience

  • Level of Experience: 1-year previous food and beverage experience requested but not required
  • Apprenticeship Program: None

Communications Skills

  • Speak English
  • Read English
  • Write English

Business Mechanical Skills​

  • Computer literate

License/Certification

  • Ability to acquire required certifications
