We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Maintenance Assistant at the Hilton Garden Inn - Rock Hill.  We offer plenty of opportunity for hands on experience.

Salary Range:  $10-$13/hourly


1. JOB TITLE: Maintenance Assistant

2. DEPARTMENT: Maintenance

3. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY: Carry out assigned duties to assist the
Maintenance Director in maintaining the
hotel’s buildings, grounds and equipment.

4. EMPLOYEE MANUAL: All employees must completely understand the requirements of their job. Prior to being assigned to the position, a complete understanding of the Employee Manual is necessary since the person holding the position will be subjected to the rules and regulations listed in the manual.

a. Pick up grounds each morning. Empty all trash cans.
b. Carry out assigned tasks from Director of Maintenance or General Manager.
c. Handle maintenance requests from hotel departments.
d. Execute special projects as directed by the Director of Maintenance.
e. Assist in meeting room setup as required.
f. Perform landscaping tasks are assigned.
g. Perform other duties as assigned.

6. REPORTS TO: Chief Engineer

As an employee, it is your responsibility to be aware of and report any and all
safety hazards or violations you may see or witness in the course of performing
your required duties.

Employees must meet these minimum requirements:
Educational Skills
Type of Education: Middle School
Level of Education: Grade 8

Apprenticeship Program: None
Level of Experience: 2 yrs maintenance or

Communication Skills
Speak English
Read English
Write English

License/Certification none
